The biggest challenge for me in my weight loss journey has been KEEPING the weight off. I have made some fantastic reductions in my waistline only to slack off and little by little gain it all back AND THEN SOME. How many times have I thrown my hands up in the air and say to myself that's it, I give up. What's the use? Finally, I realized that the only way to really keep the weight off is to forget about the fad diets and gimmicks. The only real way was to change my LIFESTYLE. And that, my friends, doesn't happen overnight. It's a step by step process that requires a lot of trial and error to find which weight loss tips and techniques you will STICK WITH. And that's different for everyone. Some people don't mind drinking a gallon of water a day. Others can't stand it. Some find that eating a ton of raw carrots really isn't too bad and cuts down the appetite. Others will kill if they look at another carrot. So, you really have to find what works for you IN THE LONG RUN. Because keeping the weight off means a way of life, not a fad.

I couldn't agree with you more. There are lots of ways to lose weight quickly, and those usually work--for a time. If you really want to keep it off, you have to find ways to motivate yourself and change things in a way that you can live with. It is definitely a lifestyle change. Well said.

I think everybody who is losing weight (or has tried to lose weight) has the same problem. If you have been eating unhealthily in the past and enjoy food so much, it will always be a problem in trying to control your appetite. I know because I have been in that same cycle through the years. I lose weight, exercise, and eat right; then I started to eat a little something something; and before I know it, I'm back on my original shape. That makes me really depressed which prompts me to eat some more. Eventually, I get tired of my weight again and decide to start on a diet but my old habit will start to crawl into my senses and I'm back on square 1 all over again. Its a tiring cycle but I'm glad that I don't have to go back into square 1 again.
I have been using adipex for the past 6 months and it helps suppress hunger and appetite which helps me to stay focused. I know friends who are using phentramine products and I heard that it works the same. It suppresses your appetite so that you won't have to eat more and makes you feel "fuller" after a meal. Try to use it if you are into diet pills. If not, try to have motivation say, to fit into a gorgeous outfit or look fit, that'll be enough to keep you going. Im sure you can make it, it is everybody's problem so its cool. Just don't let old habits prevail. Furthermore, stay focused on your goal.
