The American Diabetes Association recommends aerobic exercises (e.g. brisk walking, dancing, cycling (indoor or outdoor), stair climbing, jogging/running, rowing, etc.), and Strength Training (e.g. lifting weights, using resistance bands, squats, lunges, etc.). Essentially, a healthy combination of both can help you keep your body strong, your weight in check, and help you build bones and muscles, reducing your risk of other health complications and helping to reduce your diabetic risk.
