I started my diet at almost 230 pounds. I’ve broken the 200 mark and I am plateauing. It has stuck with me for weeks now. I can’t just stay at 189-199 forever. I have 40 more pounds to go. I was on Atkins before and that seems to have run out of effectiveness. Now I want to use a diet pill to help me along. Can anyone recommend a diet program that will go along with that? Should I continue on atkins and just use the pill to help out? I’d really rather not but I will if that’s what I have to do. Has anyone combined a diet pill with a program before?

I've heard a lot of people have problems like that with Atkins. I think weight watchers is a better program if you want to beat getting stuck.

Have you considered continuing the same program that you're doing, but upping your exercise? Maybe you've become too routine about your exercise and it's just not having the impact anymore. You might just need to make sure that your activity level fits your new fitness level. That's usually a work in progress since it will always need to change as your fitness level improves. A lot of diets cause plateaus and they are very frustrating and they can last for weeks. You just need to stick with it and, if possible, boost your burning.
