Here’s a lesson that I’ve discovered after yo-yo dieting for pretty much as long as I can remember. When you want to lose weight as quickly and easily as possible, the key is to use every minute as wisely as you can. This is especially true when you’re doing the things you love the most and you’re doing the things that you hate the most.
For instance, I hate exercising. So what I did was research the type of exercises that burn the most calories and those are the ones that I focus on the most. I found a few so that I don’t have to do the same ones every day.
Also, I love to eat, so I make sure that I use techniques that draws out that experience as much as possible, without adding calories. For instance, I eat with chopsticks (if that doesn’t slow you down, I don’t know what will) and I make sure that I serve myself foods that take some time to get through. I don’t cut things up in advance, for example, so it takes longer for me to get through it while I’m at the table.
