  • Yoga or Pilates: What's better?

    I was wondering what is better for weight loss. Yoga or Pilates? I would guess pilates, but I'm not really sure. Does anyone know or have an opinion?

    I think pilates is better. It's more intense than Yoga.

      I think they're both good for weight loss. It depends on the exercises/workouts that you do. I say that you should pick the one that you personally enjoy more.

          I think they're both beneficial. If you're asking for yourself because you'd like to choose one to help with weight loss, I would recommend starting with the one that appeals to you the most. If, after you give it an honest shot, it doesn't seems to be doing what you had hoped, try the other type of exercise to see if it works better for you. It's really important that you actually try out the exercises for yourself, because everyone is different.

            Thanks. I think I'm gonna go Yoga. I feel there is more variety with yoga and more an entire mind bony experience. Pilates seems to be more focused on strength training to me. Thanks for you thoughts :)
