  • Is the Wii Fit good exercise

    I'm wondering if the Wii Fit is actually a good tool for exercise. I have a hard time believing that exercise-style games designed for video games can really help you lose weight or get fit. Am I wrong in thinking this?

    Yup! It's actually got a lot of different exercises you can do to work out your whole body. I wouldn't depend on the Wii Fit as my only exercise, but it's definitely something worth working into your weekly routine if engaging in this type of activity appeals to you :) In other words, if you haven't tried it yet and you want to. It's definitely worth the try!

      Yeah it's good. As Tara said it's a lot of fun and can make exercising less boring and more of a game. That said, I would definitely work it into your exercise regimen but not make it the only exercise that you do.

        It's okay exercise, but I wouldn't make it the only form of exercise I do in a day. Personally I think it's more of a game than it is anything else. Plus, I really hate that stupid board thing you have to stand on LOL.

          It is great exercise and it's a lot of fun! Just remember, it doesn't matter how you burn calories. What matters is that you burn them! If you can have fun doing it, then it's even better!

            Thanks! I was kinda hoping your responses would be positive haha! I like using it and find that when exercise is kind-of like a game I"m more likely to do it :)
