  • Morning Exercise

With a family and work, the only time to get exercise is early in the morning. Early means, when my young boys are still sleeping. It may be dark and cold during those early mornings, but I am able to get a run in and I have the rest of the day for work and family time. If I wait until later in the day, many times exercise just doesn't happen.

i agree, plus it helps boost your energy throughout the day. i usually do simple stretching and breathing exercises when i don't have much time to do a more rigorous exercise routine.

There are a lot of benefits when you do your exercise routine in the morning, not only because you are uninterrupted by your kids or colleagues. here are a few reasons why:

You will most likely do your exercise routinely if you do it early morning. Instead of hitting the gym after work which you will most likely skip for a couple of days due to some circumstances, try to do it early morning where you don't have anything else in your mind yet. Make this time exclusively for yourself alone.

It will boost your metabolism throughout the day. A person can expect a metabolic boost to last for 30-60 minutes post-exercise which you can sustain for a day.

If you want to cut out caffeine but needs the energy boost it gives, you may opt to workout instead. An exercise during the early morning can help boost your energy much like coffee does. try it!

So the next time that you exercise, try to make it a habit to do it in the morning. I guarantee you its all worth it!

I agree with these points for working out in the morning. For me though, I have to get up so early already to go to work that a morning workout is not something I want to do.

I think that exercise any time of day is good, but the key is to make it a routine. Schedule exercise time into your week and stick to it. Don't make it too difficult though if you're just starting out cause you'll be less likely to keep it up.

I like getting exercise right after work so that I can walk off some of my stress from the day. I also like exercising in the evenings because it is cooler outside and it helps me to digest my meal. I figure any exercise is good exercise as long as I'm up and moving.

i really think morning exercise is great, it helps you add more energy for the day plus it allows you to move more freely. I used to hit the gym every after work and when i go back at home, i have to eat more and then sleep thereafter. At first i thought it was the best health regimen but when i started getting up early each day and do some running around the village, it changed my perspective about morning exercise drastically. It is indeed far better than going into some overcrowded and smelly gym. i suggest that you try it sometime.

I agree with the morning workouts. I find that after a workout in the morning, I feel more rejuvenated and my energy level stays up throughout the day and I don't need any coffee at all!

Also, if you workout on an empty stomach in the morning, your body is able to dig into more fat stores to be used for energy resulting in more fat loss! :)

So that means you are not that fat and can do exercise easily . . . :D
My case is not that though.
