What exercises should I focus on if I want to tone my tummy and if I do these exercises will they help to burn fat, too?

Planks, pushups, situps, crunches, bear crawls, swimming, etc. are all great ways to tone your tummy. While all of them can technically burn fat, it's really the bear crawl and swimming (especially swimming) that will lead to fat loss simply because they are more intense exercises that require you to use your whole body.

It's literally walking around any space on all fours (your feet and your hands). You can do it around your home, out in the backyard, anywhere. I would just recommend you use a flat surface as much as possible to get the most workout from it. Trust me, the exercise sounds stupid and you'll feel like a bit of a doof while you're doing it, but you will feel it in your stomach and abs. It's a super simple workout that really works. Plus, it costs nothing to do it, you don't need any special equipment or workout gear and you can do it home and at any time.

I'm so glad you asked that because I was going to, too haha. Okay, the bear crawl sounds really really silly but I'm definitely going to give it a go. That sounds like something that's easy to do and, honestly, in my experience, a lot of things that are easy to do also tend to give you quite the workout. For instance, I find that both pushups and planks are super easy to do but really hard to perform! The same can be said for situps and crunches!

Sure, strength training exercises to tone your stomach can help you burn fat. More importantly, however they help you to build and maintain lean muscle, which helps to ensure that when you are limiting your calorie intake and burning calories through cardio that you keep burning fat and you don't lose muscle in the process.

Swimming is actually fantastic! It tones the muscles in your body, including your tummy. Plus it's a lot of fun and a great way to burn calories. I swim as much as I can. I know it's not as easy when you don't have your own pool in your backyard, but if you do like swimming, it's certainly something I would recommend if you're just not someone whose into pushups, situps and all those crunchie exercises haha!

Get a pilates tape for beginners and you'll get in shame and tone all different parts of your body, not just your tummy!

I also think this is a great idea! I would recommend learning beginner exercises from a pro, taking it easy at first, and slowly building up your body's strength and resistance so that you can get the most out of it.
