Is a fat binder and fat blocker the same thing? I was thinking about taking Proactol XS and it says it's a fat binder. Does this mean I can expect the same blocking action as a product labeled as a fat blocker? Is their a difference between these two types of products or is the name interchangeable? I'm so confused

I believe that a fat binder is a type of fat blocker. It binds to fat and essentially blocks your body from being able to absorb it (fat blocker) and the fat is eliminated from your body as waste. So essentially all fat binders are fat blockers but not all fat blockers are fat binders. I hope that makes sense lol.

There must be other types of fat blockers if a fat binder is a type of fat blocker. Otherwise the names would be interchangeable right?
