Is Proactol an OTC diet pill? What is it supposed to do? Is it costly to buy?

  • #2
Um, I think it's a non-prescription weight loss pill. I think it's both a fat binder and an appetite suppressant. I've heard that it's pretty popular but I've never tried it so personally I have no idea how effective it is or if it works or if its got side effects or anything.

It is an OTC fat binder. It's got a lot of clinically tested ingredients in its formula that are supposed to be pretty safe. Out of curiosity, which type of proactol are you asking about? Do you know that there is more than one type on the market?

How many different ones are there? Do they all contain the same formula but with higher doses?

Thanks for all the responses. I'm curious about Anne's question now, too. How many types of Proactol are there and do they all work the same?
