I know that weight loss pills are obviously designed to help you lose weight and manage your weight, but do they provide any other health benefits when you take them?

No. They don't improve anything else. They are really meant only to help you feel less hungry so making the necessary dietary changes to eat healthier and lose weight is made easier. Nothing that is prescribed for the short-term and is linked to that many bad side effects is good for your health. Remember that prescription diet drugs are a treatment for weight loss. The only good thing you're doing for yourself by taking them is your efforts to lose weight.

The only potential health benefit they provide is helping you to reduce your weight with greater speed and efficiency compared to if you were to only engage in conventional weight loss methods. How healthy you are depends on you. Think of the pill as an aid and one that you want to use for as short a time as possible.
