  • How much caffeine is too much?

I know that this product, like many OTC weight loss products, contains caffeine. What I want to know is how much caffeine is too much caffeine? Like, if I like my morning cup of jo in the morning is it still safe for me to do that when taking these pills or others like them?

It depends on the person. Some people can drink more caffeine than others. Personally, I think drinking 400 mg a day is enough. Anything over that you're kind of taking in too much.

It depends on your tolerance, but I would say for the average person, anything over 400 mg is excessive. Even 400 mg is a lot (slightly more than two mugs of coffee), but you'll really be tipping the scales if you start exceeding that amount.

Honestly, if you're taking diet pills with caffeine in them, I wouldn't take any other caffeine. The quantity that has been added in the pills is no doubt more than enough.

I also think it depends on the person. Some people can tolerate caffeine better than others. That said, even if you do have a better tolerance, overloading on caffeine isn't good for anyone. I would stick to drinking only one caffeinated beverage a day (ex. coffee, tea, cola, etc.) if you're taking pills with caffeine in it.

So far I haven't had any problems with caffeine. I think I'll stick to having my morning cup of coffee and just drink decaf the rest of the time if I want one and pay attention to how my body reacts. Thanks for your opinions :)
