Is caffeine a diuretic? Like if I take these pills will I have to go to the bathroom more?

it can be for some people. The more of it you ingest, typically the higher the potential diuretic effect. However, if you consume caffeine on a regular basis, it's likely not to effect you.

Probably not. If you're used to caffeine you should be fine. I've never had this effect. I mean, I do go to the bathroom more if I drink tea or coffee but that's because I?ve consumed a lot of liquid in a short period of time, the same would happen if I drank a whole bunch of water. I mean, maybe that?s not the case for you, but that?s the logic behind it for me.

Me, too! I think most of us tend to go to the bathroom more when we drink tea and coffee because we're drinking the liquid faster. Seriously, if you drink lots of water, you'll be in the bathroom a lot too.Originally posted by Mike View PostProbably not. If you're used to caffeine you should be fine. I've never had this effect. It definitely acts like a diuretic for me, but I'm also not a regular coffee or caffeinated tea drinker, so that could be the reason. It does seem that if you're used to it, you're not likely to notice much of a difference in urine production.Originally posted by bigbobby View PostIs caffeine a diuretic?
