  • Is Hoodia dangerous?

I've read that Hoodia can effect your liver or something like that or interact with other medication. Is this true? Other than not actually working as an appetite suppressant I thought it was pretty harmless. Was I wrong?

I've never head about it being dangerous. I've heard that it doesn't work. That would be bad if it was not good for you though, on top of not working...

Anything can be dangerous. That said, what I've heard about Hoodia is that just as research has not proven its effects, it's also not proven its ill effects, either. Therefore, it's not known what it actually does, good or bad. However, I'm sure it's highly possible that it can interact with other medications, so I would definitely avoid taking it if you are currently taking other medications or at least talk to you doctor first.

I don't think it's dangerous. I think the problem with Hoodia is that it just doesn't work

Thanks for saying so, BigBobby. This is exactly the type of answer I was looking for. I guess they really don't know what it does, do they?
