Should you take Hoodia if your taking other medications?

Can you take hoodia if you are taking other supplements or if you are taking other medications? Will it conflict?

That said, I think that yes it's possible that Hoodia could conflict with other medications because I think I read somewhere that it's processed by the liver and it ends up in your blood stream. Therefore, it could affect other substances you're taking and cause negative effects or make your medicine not work as well, etc. Best to ask you doc.

I think it would be fine. I honestly don't think Hoodia even works. But as brightstar said it wouldn't be a bad idea to talk to your doctor or at least your pharmacist if this is something that is weighing on your mind.

You need to be careful if you are going to be combining Hoodia with different supplements or medications. This is not only because it can throw off your body's natural balance, but you could be asking for all sorts of trouble.

Also, Hoodia is a total scam. There is no proof that this substance helps with weight loss.

I agree with treehuggertodd. I think Hoodia is total scam, too. There are better supplements out there that you can try!

I doubt it would conflict, but I don't think that Hoodia really works anyway, so I wouldn't bother taking it for weight loss. That way you don't have to worry about conflict
