Is there are certain amount of time that you can take Alli? I'm looking for a long-term weight loss pill and this one looks pretty good. Thanks.

I'm pretty sure you can take Alli as long as you need to. Usually, if you're only supposed to take it for a short time, a product should tell you this on its packaging. If you're really not sure, I guess the best thing that you can do is talk to your doctor about it. That said, I wouldn't personally want to take any product for longer than I had to. In my opinion, all diet pills should be thought of a short-term weight loss aid and not a permanent solution for weight management.

I wouldn't take this for more than a couple months. If you need to take it for longer than that, especially without seeing much of a difference in your weight, you likely need some other plan for weight loss. Remember that the pill is only supposed to be a help. It shouldn't be a long-term lifestyle. Don't use it as a crutch.

I don't actually intend to take it forever, just until I reach my weight loss goal. So I guess what you're all saying is it's safe to take until I do. I might just keep going with it unless I find a reason to stop (ex. side effects). Thanks for your opinions.
