The official Alli website offers some good tips for eating healthy, as well as meal planning and dining out tips. Essentially, you want to eat sensibly and reduce your calories intake by not over-eating and by not ingesting lots of high-fats, sugars, processed foods, etc.

I would avoid a diet with high fatty goods. Just eat sensibly and healthy. If you want to lose weight, you need to eat less than you intend to burn. Just make sure it's a diet that you can actually follow for the long term and not one that you'll be likely to quit after a week or two.

Try a vegetrain-style diet or the step diet. Those are both good with helping you control your calories. The step diet is also good for potion control. Essentially, you need to find a diet that will mean you'll eat fewer calories than you burn, but exercise needs to be a huge part of the plan.

Follow the recommendations and eat lower calorie foods and exercise. If I'm not mistaken, Alli is a fat blocker, so you also need to be mindful of the fat you eat. I know that many fat blockers are not supposed to be taken when you eat a non-fat or ultra low-fat meal, because they don't really do anything for you.
