I can admit that I'm a typically bloated, gassy person by nature. I don't know if it's because I'm allergic to something I eat, if I have IBS or if that's just my natural reaction to food. Whatever the case, do you think I should probably avoid Alli due to the type of side effects that it can cause? The last thing I want is to make my bloating/gas issues worse. The reason I'm interested in taking it, is I've heard good things and I personally don't think other OTC diet supplements do much in terms of aiding with weight loss. At least this one contains an actual drug.

Should this be avoided if you're already a gassy person?

It probably would be a good idea to avoid it. If you've got IBS, chances are you're going to experience the icky side effects of this pill, even if you follow the directions correctly. Best case, if you truly want to know if it's the worth the risk for you, discuss your concerns with a doctor - or at the very least - your pharmacist.

Also, I realized that it doesn't provide an energy boost, which is something I want because I struggle to find the motivation to exercise.
