I understand that you can get Alli without a prescription, but should you only get it if it has been recommended by a doctor, anyway? Should you basically still treat it like a prescription pill and go to the doctor and get the recommendation or should you just go ahead and buy it? Also, if you can just go ahead and buy it, doesn’t that suggest that it really doesn’t do too much?

It’s true that you should check with your doctor before making that kind of change, but really, how many of us actually do for every little change that we make. Alli can be bought without a prescription and that’s fine for most people. It is a really weak dose of the medication. That’s why it’s non prescription now.

Thanks for the advice. Tobetinytina, it sounds like you think it's really weak. Have you tried it before? Is it too weak to actually do anything? I'm really trying ot make the right choice with this one. I found a site that sells it for really cheap.
