I'm thinking about trying Alli since it's got a lot of positive feedback from the people who use it and because it actually contains an ingredient that's not just unproven herbs. What I would like to know is what types of foods or meals should I avoid if I'm taking it. I heard that if you eat certain things when taking this, you could really wind up on the toilet I don't want that to happen. Help please!

Why would consuming a lot of high-fat stuff lead to more side effects when you're taking Alli...isn't it a fat blocker?? Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying you should use Alli as an excuse to up your fat intake or anything, but wouldn't it just block the amount of fat you're eating, regardless of how much it is?

It's a problem because Alli changes the way that your body digests fat. Since it can't absorb all the fat that you consume, your digestive systems becomes ultra-sensitive to it. Since it can't digest it properly your system wants to get rid of it quickly, so that's why you may have the urge to go to the bathroom more, why your stool will look and feel different, etc. You really, really need to follow the directions when taking these types of diet pills.

That's kinda the trick of getting the most out of Alli without all the crazy side effects. Honestly, just follow the directions and you should be fine. If you have a hard time tolerating it, maybe it's not for you.
