Fall inspired coffee and tea recipes can feel like a gift every single day throughout this cooling season. There is something nearly magical about being able to enjoy the perfect warm beverage on a cool morning as the sun pierces a cloudy sky and lights up the changing colors of the trees outside your window. Taking a calming break of even five minutes in this way can start your day beautifully or recharge it when it’s halfway through.
The Difference Fall Inspired Coffee and Tea Recipes Can Make
First thing in the morning, the whirlwind to get the kids ready for school needs a regular, everyday average cup of coffee. I used to drink it with cream and two sugars until I found out what that was doing to my daily nutrition and calorie count. Slowly, I weaned myself off the extras and now that first, very critical cup of coffee is black.
Relaxing with Fall Inspired Coffee and Tea Recipes
However, once the little ones are off, it’s time to drink a coffee or a tea that I’ll actually taste. The caffeine I need for “survival” is in my system by then, and then I’m ready to enjoy something truly delicious. This time of year is the start of some of the best seasonal flavors we see all year long, so I always take advantage of them. Yum!
Here are a few of my favorites for when I have a few minutes to breathe, or when I don’t but I do have enough time to sip a great tasting hot beverage while I get some work done at the same time. And don’t worry, because none of these come with an overwhelming calorie hit that will have you researching Adipex diet pills.
Delicious Fall Inspired Coffee and Tea Recipes to Try (No Adipex Diet Pills Needed)
Real pumpkin spice latte
When you get a pumpkin spice latte from a coffee shop, most of what you taste is artificial flavors. Heat up some milk (I do it in the microwave) and add a tablespoon or two of pumpkin puree and pumpkin pie spice to it. Whisk it together, then whisk it into a strong cup of coffee. It’s shockingly good. This is quick, easy and will instantly become your absolute favorite this year. If you like your coffee to taste sweet, add a teaspoon or two of pure maple syrup.
Cinnamon coffee
When I want something a little special and delicious, but I don’t have the time to mix up a fall potion, then I just make a good cup of coffee and dust some cinnamon on top. Yup, that’s it. It is fantastic. In fact, it was one of the things I did to help wean myself off sugar in coffees because, somehow, it makes coffee taste sweeter even if it doesn’t have any sugar in it at all.
Cranberry chai latte
Boil water and pour it into a mug with a chai tea bag and six cranberries (fresh or frozen). Don’t fill the cup all the way up because you’ll be adding milk after the tea and cranberries have had some time in the hot water. Let the tea and berries steep for around five minutes. Take the tea bag out and top up the cup with milk. Enjoy it just like that or sprinkle a bit of cinnamon on top if you want to make things even more special.
Spiced cocoa coffee
Ready for the piece de resistance? That’s right, there is something even better than that pumpkin spice latte that everyone goes bananas about every year at this time. It’s spiced cocoa coffee. To your coffee, add a tiny bit of vanilla extract, cocoa, cinnamon and chili powder. If you prefer lattes, go for it and add a bit of milk, too. This will have every taste bud dancing! Every part of it can be adjusted for your best enjoyment. Like things super-chocolaty? Add more cocoa (plain cocoa is very reasonable in the calorie department). Love zippy spice? Toss in more chili powder!
